We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support patient safety and high-quality clinical outcomes through precise specimen analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position in our Laboratory Services department, working 7.5 hour variable shifts. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Medical Technology or a related Science and a New York State Department of Education License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Certification by ASCP is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precise specimen analysis and report results accurately, completing QC Action Logs and maintenance logs.
- Assist with training new personnel on laboratory responsibilities.
- Continuously assess work processes and suggest improvements.
