Lead Customer Service Representative

Position Overview: As a key member of our team, you will benefit from exclusive savings, including a 20% discount on a wide range of products and a 30% discount on furniture. Additional perks include a same-day pay option for hourly associates and discounts on various services.

Core Responsibilities: You will engage in essential store operations, which encompass cashiering, customer assistance, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness. In the absence of store leadership, you will assume the role of Manager on Duty (MOD), guiding associates in their daily tasks.

Key Duties:
1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers as needed.
2. Operate point-of-sale systems with efficiency and accuracy.
3. Encourage participation in customer loyalty programs, facilitating sign-ups and rewards processing.
4. Assist in the freight flow process, including unloading trucks and stocking merchandise.
5. Support furniture department operations, including carry-outs and display setups.
6. Ensure the store's interior and exterior meet company standards through light maintenance and cleaning.
7. Maintain front-end operations, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
8. Complete additional tasks as assigned by store leadership, such as cart retrieval and safety-related duties.
9. When acting as MOD, provide leadership to associates, ensuring adherence to merchandising and customer service standards.

Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Previous experience in retail leadership is preferred.
3. Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential.
4. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
6. Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills are necessary.
