Job Title: Stockroom Manager

Job Summary:

The Stockroom Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring the stockroom processes are being followed, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting outside vendor services. This position requires a strong technical background and experience in inventory management, stockroom operations, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of maintenance, stockroom, and apprentice staff.
  • Set up, maintain, and responsible for maintenance systems, inspection routines, inventory control, job scheduling, staff training, and identification of plant improvement plans.
  • Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records and communicate with other levels of leadership.
  • Accountable for Stock Room Budgets to include accounts in VMS and OVS.
  • Oversee the Stock KPIs/Metrics and adhere to all Workflow Processes and Procedures defined by MSE.
  • Provide support to the Regional MRO Mgr for initiatives to optimize Stock Room Inventory.
  • Support outside vendor services with CBRE, Caf, and SBM with support from Technical Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in a technical related field of work in manufacturing, maintenance, or project engineering.
  • Associate degree in a technical-related discipline with 2+ years experience in a technical related field of work in manufacturing, maintenance, or project engineering.
  • Experience in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Hands on experience with SAP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Stockroom experience.
  • Experience with operating within a formalized Continuous Improvement Environment (TPM, Lean Manufacturing).
