Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and garnishing a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict food safety and handling procedures.
- Execute menu items from start to finish, including preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, cooking, and plating.
- Deliver, clear, and reset dishes executed by you and the kitchen team.
- Collaborate with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Perform technical culinary food production, including weighing and measuring ingredients accurately according to our recipes.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at your workstation to ensure a smooth service period.
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment, adhering to our company's values and policies.
- Minimum 2 years of fine dining line cook experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and dining room team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
