Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide mobile response and stabilization services to youth (age 2-20) and families who have called the crisis hotline with a family identified crisis. This role requires a high level of initiative and independent judgment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to mobile crisis situations within an hour
  • Engage youth and families in de-escalating the crisis and assess for risk
  • Facilitate hospitalization for clients as necessary
  • Complete a Crisis Assessment and CANS to develop a safety plan and MRSS plan
  • Care for a caseload of clients through ongoing stabilization phase up to six weeks
  • Maintain accurate clinical records according to licensing and accreditation regulations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC licensure required; MFT or IMFT preferred
  • Minimum two years experience working with youth and families in mental health setting
  • Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and abilities; strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
