Position Overview:

As a Landscaping Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various landscaping projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Location:
Rancho Cordova, CA

Eligibility:
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA standards during project execution.

Prepare accurate bids and manage all documentation processes effectively.

Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and facilitate billing for additional work.

Engage in sales and marketing initiatives aligned with the annual business strategy.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and participation in networking events.

Negotiate subcontractor agreements favorably and regularly review job cost reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Promote additional services across divisions whenever feasible.

Facilitate the sale and execution of landscape construction projects.

Ensure proper documentation practices are followed for historical records and liability considerations.

Leadership & Management:
Embrace and uphold the company's core values and mission.

Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and lead by example.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, holding them accountable for their responsibilities.

Provide training to new project staff on company policies, culture, and project management best practices.

Mentor and support Project Assistants and Associates in their professional development.

Safety & Quality Assurance:
Train and assess project assistants and associates assigned to your team, guiding field staff in their safety and quality responsibilities.

Implement and exceed company policies and procedures related to Field Operations, Safety, Quality Control, and Technical Training Programs.

Actively monitor job sites for safety compliance.

Continuously enhance knowledge of industry trends and obtain relevant certifications.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Proficient in Mac OS and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.

Broad knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape, and plant identification.

Strong skills in sales, negotiation, team-building, and emotional intelligence.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Ornamental Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape management.

Valid Driver's License required.

Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork in various weather conditions.

Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks, including potential overtime or weekend work.

Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
