Position Overview:

This role involves providing exceptional service to clients regarding claims across various business lines. You will play a crucial role in streamlining the claims process and ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to claims.
  • Inform clients about the necessary documentation and timelines for claims processing.
  • Document all interactions in a clear and professional manner.
  • Input application information accurately into the claims management system.
  • Assign claims to the appropriate handlers and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain regular attendance during scheduled hours.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
  • Support the organization's quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.

Experience: At least one year of customer service experience or a combination of education and experience. Inbound call center experience is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and claims management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
