Financial Services Specialist - Payroll and Bookkeeping

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Specialist to join our team at MBE CPAs. As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing full charge bookkeeping services to multiple clients using QuickBooks, processing payrolls, and providing QuickBooks support and consulting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide full charge bookkeeping services to multiple clients using QuickBooks
- Process payrolls, including direct deposits and generating monthly/quarterly/year-end statements
- Provide QuickBooks support and consulting, including training clients on managing their records in QB on an as-needed basis
- Support clients by providing catch-up of the year's financial activity to produce tax returns

**Requirements:**

- Knowledge of generally accepted principles of accounting
- Intermediate to advanced skills in QuickBooks software
- Two-year Associate Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent level of bookkeeping experience
- Accounting/bookkeeping experience in a business or CPA firm setting desired
- Comfortable working daily in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Oral and written communication skills to support building client relationships

**Schedule:**

- This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, with a steady 40 hours per week
- Generally, overtime is not expected except during January and February when the CAS team works about 50 hours per week for year-end
- Unlimited overtime is available January-March and May-September, with the office closing at noon on Fridays for summer hours
