Role Overview
As a Creative Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and direct various creative initiatives from start to finish. You will collaborate across multiple departments, including design, engineering, procurement, logistics, and compliance, to bring projects to fruition.
Your key focus will be on ensuring timely project delivery, adhering to budget constraints, and meeting client specifications, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction and enhancing profitability. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Implementation: Formulate project plans, establish timelines, and coordinate efforts to guarantee successful project outcomes. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Client Relations: Serve as a primary contact for clients both domestically and internationally, particularly in China, maintaining consistent communication to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide project updates.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to enhance project profitability.
- Market and Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest marketing trends, industry developments, and consumer behaviors to create innovative strategies and concepts.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, engineering, procurement, logistics, and compliance, to ensure smooth project execution. Promote effective communication and coordination among team members to achieve project goals.
- Creative Brainstorming: Lead creative sessions to encourage idea generation and keep the team inspired and motivated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications by collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Conduct inspections and address any quality issues to maintain product excellence and client satisfaction.
- Documentation Management: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other pertinent records. Ensure timely and accurate documentation to support project tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Business Development Support: Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and relationship-building efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lead initiatives to enhance project management and client account management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Design, Business, or related disciplines).
- Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within a creative agency or similar environment.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic setting.
- Strong foundation in marketing or trend analysis, with a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities to effectively address project challenges and engage with clients and team members.
- A creative mindset with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics, eager to contribute fresh ideas.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience managing international campaigns or projects.
- Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Previous experience managing projects for international clients or in cross-cultural environments is a bonus.
