Battery Operations Manager

**Job Overview**
At BlueOval SK, we are committed to revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) battery business through partnership and innovation. As a Battery Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading our start-up team at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead a team of hourly employees at the facility, including coaching on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Build team leader and team member capability, creating a conducive work environment for the team to complete their assigned responsibilities.
- Review production schedules and make suggestions on labor plans to meet scheduled requirements.
- Manage attendance of operators, coach and train operators to develop production skills and technical competencies.
- Evaluate operator performance and provide feedback, address complaints and resolve problems.
- Assign and direct work according to production plans, responsible for achieving and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
**Requirements:**
- A high school diploma or GED, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Advanced knowledge of operational tools and procedures obtained through extensive work experience.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, experience with MES preferred.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- A bachelor's or master's degree, with 3-5 years of operations experience in a leadership role.
- Manufacturing experience, including automotive assembly, and experience in high-volume manufacturing, especially in electric components and chemicals.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management.
**What You'll Receive:**
An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
