We are a joint venture between Ford and SK On, leading the transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) battery business. Our mission is to provide products and processes that increase our customers' experience.
With investments of billions in Kentucky and Tennessee, we are building three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities. These facilities will use Ford's 100 years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On's 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world's best battery manufacturer.
Achieve Excellence as an Emergency Response TechnicianThe Emergency Response Technician at BlueOval SK plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment for employees. You will respond to emergency situations within an industrial manufacturing setting, using your skills to rescue people from hazardous situations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to structural and medical emergencies in the manufacturing facility
- Rescue people in affected areas, performing high angle and confined space rescue operations
- Identify hazards in confined spaces and issue entry permits as required
- Deal directly with the release of hazardous materials, such as chemicals or gases
- Evacuate areas that could become contaminated by hazardous materials
- Provide life-saving tactics using acquired training
- Maintain equipment and perform periodic inspection on fire protection and life safety equipment

Earn an Estimated $65,000 - $80,000 per year
