Transforming the EV Landscape
Our joint venture is investing heavily in Kentucky and Tennessee, with three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities being built at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky.
Leveraging Ford's 100-year legacy in automobile manufacturing and SK On's 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise, we aim to become the world's best battery manufacturer.
Job Description: Payroll SpecialistSalary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the administration of payroll, absence, and timekeeping functions at BOSK.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Act as the technical expert related to all payroll, absence, and time.
- Responsible for overall operations of payroll-related functions, ensuring successful completion and administration of the payroll.
- Manage payroll functions, leading system implementation and administration, working with third-party vendors, opening cases, or troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Experience with Workday payroll and UKG timekeeping systems implementations, operations, and administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, accounting, or related field.
- Payroll and Human Resources experience relating to payroll services and applications, especially in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with joint ventures and start-ups is a plus, willing to think outside of the box to resolve issues.
- Must be a self-starter, willing to hit the ground running and collaborate across multiple key stakeholder areas within the rapidly growing business.

Additional Information
This position may require occasional travel throughout 2024 and future relocation to Tennessee, based on preference and interview results.
This role will work in an office environment but will be hybrid as we build the plant and facilities.
