Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Lend-A-Loan LLC. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the mortgage lending process and ensuring that loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Processing: Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Loan File Management: Ensure that loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies, and assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mortgage Lending Experience: Possess experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans, and have a strong understanding of lending regulations and guidelines.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience working as a Processor, Underwriter, and/or Client Care Specialist, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Possess the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have experience navigating UWM portal, with a strong understanding of loan processing software and systems.
