Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU team at the University of California. As an APP on this service, you will play a critical role in managing the care of our patients and their families.

The APP team works collaboratively to provide comprehensive care for patients in the Peds CTICU, both pre and post-operatively. You will assist in coordinating care and provide outpatient follow-up visits, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.

Salary Ranges:

NP1 (less than 6 months NP experience): $76.51/hourly

NP2: $84.82-$121.13/hourly

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics, Acute Care
  • CA NP, NPF, and CA RN license
  • NPI #, DEA #
  • Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
  • National Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS certification from American Heart Association
  • Pediatric CTICU experience as a RN or NP
  • Ability to utilize excel, word, and other software programs
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships
  • Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence
  • Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner
