Career Opportunity:

The UCLA Health Congenital Heart Program is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

- Implement Standardized Procedures (SPs) to provide safe and effective care
- Participate in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide patient and family education to promote continuity of care
- Make referrals and document services rendered as needed

Requirements:

- CA RN and CA NP License
- MSN/DNP with Pediatric Acute Care NP or FNP Specialty
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- National Certification in NP Specialty
- Minimum 2 years pediatric cardiac experience in a RN or NP role
- Previous NP experience
- State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and other software programs
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions
- Ability to set priorities
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence
