Job Summary

MITRE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Intelligence Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in system engineering and intelligence community operational experience to advance MITRE's Army Intelligence portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise Army Intelligence government managers on defining the context, problem space, and vision to assess future intelligence priorities, roadmaps, and technology needs using modern system engineering approaches.
  • Apply system engineering skills to drive a holistic approach against applicable service intelligence problem sets.
  • Apply cutting-edge methods and tools, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering and Data Analytics, to evaluate intelligence operations performance, constraints, and gaps, and propose changes.
  • Support the application of emerging technologies across multiple Army domains.
Requirements
  • Minimum of years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Army intelligence experience, including strategic, operational, and tactical.
  • Ability to interact with sponsors, including helping to set the project direction, briefing results, and developing and presenting analytically based conclusions and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with the DoD intelligence community and intelligence systems.
  • Knowledge of force-wide intelligence operations.
  • Demonstrated evidence of leading teams and interacting with senior government sponsors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • This position requires a minimum of % hybrid on-site presence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mission knowledge of intelligence operations, the intelligence lifecycle, and intelligence systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in converging solutions to achieve integrated results.
  • Ability to lead teams supporting military intelligence operations.
