About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Cleared Software Systems Engineer to join our Cross-cutting Urgent Innovation Cell (CUIC). This team of analysts, scientists, innovators, and engineers is focused on delivering meaningful solutions to national security challenges. We concentrate on rapid prototyping, mission analysis, experimentation, and research in a unique environment that optimizes results.

The successful candidate will possess a strong programming capability and experience with software engineering, database development, data analytics, and geospatial reasoning in classified environments. They will learn new techniques and approaches on-the-job, working in collaboration with other team members.

Basic Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • Typically requires a degree in computer science, data science, applied mathematics/statistics, operation research, artificial intelligence, or other physical science/engineering fields
  • 2+ years of experience working technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, applied mathematics/statistics, operation research, artificial intelligence, or other physical science/engineering fields
  • Experience cleaning and wrangling real-world messy data
  • Data analysis around business intelligence, supply chain, economics, cyber, and/or critical infrastructure topics
  • Domain knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques for classification, detection, key attribute extraction, segmentation, or activity detection
