Position Overview:

As a Solar Project Construction Lead, you will oversee the execution of various solar utility projects, ranging from small to large-scale. Your proactive approach will be crucial in identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize pre-construction activities across multiple projects.
  • Supervise safety protocols, engineering tasks, construction processes, and budget management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and progress tracking.
  • Engage with contractors and consultants to facilitate deliverable preparation and coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to assess project status and resolve issues.
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-construction to field operations.
  • Assist in the review and implementation of engineering plans and contractor payment requests.
  • Define project scopes, construction objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Mitigate risks by applying insights from current projects to future endeavors.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of project changes and associated costs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solar PV Construction.
  • 5+ years in a Construction Manager or Site Superintendent role.
  • Proven experience in the Solar Industry and EPC environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Proficient in interpreting multi-trade construction drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management is preferred.
