We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team at UHS. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in designated target markets, generating and supporting utilization of our facility's continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain direct referral relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and other key stakeholders in designated target markets.
- Identify and assess the needs of prospective and existing customers, and develop tailored sales plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to develop and implement quarterly sales plans that support the organization's marketing plan.
- Represent the organization as a professional contact through participation in workshops, conferences, health fairs, and tradeshows.
- Provide facility management with up-to-date information regarding the needs of referral sources and changes in the market.
- Document weekly business development source contact utilizing the Med Series system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's public relations campaigns.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Marketing, Public Relations, or Sales.
- Experience in healthcare business development with measurable results and knowledge of behavioral health is strongly preferred.
- Personal vehicle with a valid State of Alaska driver's license is required.
