Job Title: Product Owner - Insurance Modernization

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Development Product Owner to lead Agile teams in supporting Property & Casualty Modernization Efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Agile teams to create features, prioritize work, update status, and escalate issues as needed using Jira and other tools.
  • Work with product line leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements for processing Insurance Financial data.
  • Represent business stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine, and communicate business needs for effective solution building.
  • Prioritize investment, business value, and delivery based on a deep understanding of customer needs, business vision, and strategy.
  • Manage the involvement of subject matter specialists from the business and provide continuous business guidance to the execution team.
  • Prioritize execution team tasks to align with business executives' strategies.
  • Collaborate with business and IT delivery teams to identify and mitigate business operational risks.
  • Escalate issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Work with various technologies and vendor partnerships or software.
  • Identify, engage, and influence business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to define and document relevant business processes.
  • Represent the customers' perspective throughout the product realization cycle.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to develop metrics for managing and tracking benefits, adoption, and operational risks.
  • Assist with project-level plans related to schedule, scope, and resources.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to align with program or product roadmaps.
  • Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of work items such as new features and defects at the project level.
  • Review and accept or prioritize feedback and new requirements from stakeholders.
  • Review and approve or decline development output, ensuring specified acceptance criteria are met.
  • Prepare the business for change and provide tactics and metrics for benefits, adoption, and risk management.
  • Assist with coaching less experienced DPOs and team members.
