We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at H Day Tax LLC, based in Vancouver, Washington.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working full-time (40-50 hrs./week) during tax season and roughly 30 hours per week for the remainder of the year.

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current clients and promoting our services to future clients.

You will review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts using CCH Axcess Tax, Fixed Assets, Engagement, and Project Management software.

Additionally, you will provide leadership and supervision to staff needs, including tax planning, and stay current on CPE training, current tax practices, and changes in tax law.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of public tax accounting experience.
  • A CPA license in good standing with Washington's Board of Accountancy or Enrolled Agent.
  • Energetic, a self-starter, with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills required for managing multiple client engagements.
