Canvas Inc. is in search of experienced professionals to join our team in supporting advanced testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of military aviation tactics and operational frameworks. Experience in both developmental and operational testing is highly preferred, along with a background in aircrew operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate comprehensive test planning documentation for innovative weapon systems.
  • Anticipate testing resources and range necessities.
  • Collaborate effectively with program management and primary contractors.
  • Serve as a test director during mission execution.
  • Conduct thorough briefings and debriefings with aircrew regarding mission objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering with a minimum of ten years in acquisition roles, including at least six years in Test & Evaluation (T&E) or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, range operations, aircraft, aircrew, data management, and safety protocols related to developmental testing.
  • Experience in classified environments, particularly within Special Access Programs.
  • Familiarity with Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) testing at various military installations.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and navigate competing resource demands.
  • Self-driven to understand new systems under evaluation and proactive in fulfilling program objectives.
  • Proven ability to devise innovative strategies to meet stringent testing timelines.
  • Experience with USAF and USN operations and weapon systems is advantageous.
  • Graduates of Test Pilot School or Fighter Weapons School are preferred.

Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a secret clearance, with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI access.
