Education Director Role

We are seeking an exceptional Education Director to join our team at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.

About the Position

The Education Director will be responsible for developing and implementing education programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience in leadership roles.

The Education Director will oversee the development of educational materials, manage budgets, and lead a team of educators. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of our staff
  • Manage budgets and resources to support education initiatives
  • Lead a team of educators and provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in education or a related field
  • Leadership experience and a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
