Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat children experiencing gross motor delays, mobility challenges, strength issues, balance concerns, coordination difficulties, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Oversee team members in delivering patient care that aligns with individual needs and adheres to professional standards.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including Plans of Care and progress notes.
  • Foster effective communication with patients, families, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Accept clinical assignments that match your qualifications and expertise.
  • Implement infection control measures and universal precautions in patient care activities.
  • Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by the agency and licensing board.
  • Promote the mission and policies of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist with a minimum of one year of recent pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or outpatient settings.
  • Experience supervising assistants, students, or other team members for at least six months.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Hold a current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation and proof of auto liability insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Team-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
