Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at MED Institute, a Cook Group company. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all phases of service and maintenance activities related to iMRI suites for MED and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement all phases of service and maintenance activities related to iMRI suites
  • Interact and communicate well with team members and clients
  • Interface with vendors
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, while setting clear expectations, meeting commitments, and resolving issues as they arise
  • Work independently and solve problems, utilizing all available tools and resources
  • Maintain well-controlled documentation, including written protocols and reports, data forms, and laboratory notebooks

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or similar technical discipline required with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a related field
  • Hard-working, enthusiastic, detail-oriented person with strong written and verbal communication skills, record-keeping and interpersonal skills
  • Will be working in a team setting and must be willing to be trained
  • Strong hands-on skills and electrical and mechanical abilities
  • Previous MRI experience/knowledge preferred
  • Ability to travel 75% or more
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
