We are seeking a skilled Program Manager with proven expertise in overseeing a variety of training-related Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives characterized by intricate timelines and resource allocation.

As a Senior Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

A typical week for a Senior Program Manager may involve:

  • Overseeing daily management and control of diverse projects.
  • Managing operations, development, and the creation of training content.
  • Preparing written and verbal status updates regarding schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of tasks within budgetary limits.
  • Contributing to the effectiveness and success of America's military personnel through a program focused on Distance Learning (DL).
  • Ensuring that the Government's priorities and requirements are integrated and supported in all projects and initiatives for our Navy client.
  • Establishing and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising staff, and communicating the organization's policies, objectives, and goals to team members.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Interfacing with Government management personnel.
  • Coordinating and leading internal meetings with the contractor team and external meetings with Government stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing technology and/or training programs for the DoD, with at least 5 years in managing complex technical contract efforts, including content development and maintenance for training programs.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency with MS Project and experience managing complex schedules and resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in change and scope management.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
