Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Life Enrichment Specialist to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Wilmington. As a key member of our staff, you will provide daily activity programs for residents and assist the Activities Coordinator in delivering a range of program services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging activity programs tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a comprehensive schedule of activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.
  • Provide support and assistance to residents in their daily lives, fostering independence and autonomy while ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress, contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with dementia and knowledge of therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or education in a related field an asset.
