Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
About the Role:
A WOC Nurse (Wound, Ostomy, Continence) at Calvary Hospital provides expert care for patients with complex disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. The successful candidate will deliver direct patient care, serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher, and contribute to optimal patient outcomes. This pivotal role demands a high level of expertise, compassion, and dedication.
Responsibilities:
- Provide acute and rehabilitative care for patients with selected disorders.
- Serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher to enhance patient care.
- Maintain current certifications in Wound and Ostomy Nursing and membership in WOCN Society.
Qualifications and Education:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Registration.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree.
- Completion of a WOCN accredited WOC Nursing Education Program.
