As a Field Manager, you'll play a vital and the most crucial role in guiding projects to completion, ensuring continual progress, and maintaining the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely complete all assigned pre-construction tasks, adhere strictly to set deadlines.
  • Immediately communicate any delays beyond control to the project manager for prompt resolution.
  • Participate in site visits and focus on early identification of potential construction challenges.
  • Review every aspect of the project during the pre-construction phase, with a goal of minimizing future delays and changes.
  • Customize the construction schedule for each project, tailor it to its unique scope.
  • Finalize the project schedule, ensure both accuracy and practicality in planning.
  • Participate and engage in weekly team meetings to contribute to process improvements and organizational growth.

Field Execution:

  • Ensure projects advance daily and prioritize client satisfaction.
  • Conduct trade partner task walks during each critical phase of the project, ensure all work aligns with the project specifications and quality standards.
  • Attend weekly client site meetings for look-ahead planning, provide updates on selections, schedule, and discuss any potential or existing change order requests.
  • Conduct thorough, daily checks on trade work, ensure excellence in delivery.
  • Oversee site cleanliness, demonstrate a commitment to high standards.
  • Ensure early site access to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Attend all required inspections, ready to address and solve any concerns.
  • Keep detailed daily logs and upload photos for real-time progress tracking.
  • Update schedules daily, manage tasks, and maintain clear communication lines with designers, architects, engineers, clients, and entire SGB Team.

Close Out:

  • Meticulously confirm that every aspect of the home is complete per plans and of the highest quality prior to final reviews.
  • Facilitate and manage all necessary city code inspections, ensure compliance and top-notch standards.
  • Oversee the period between client orientation and home closing, prioritize client needs and ensure any final touches meet their expectations.
  • Use PlanGrid to diligently address and resolve any client requests, demonstrate responsiveness and attention to detail.
