About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Advisor to join our team at Platform Accounting Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing accounting and advisory services to our clients, including individuals and businesses in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accounting and advisory services to clients, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Perform general accounting duties, including transaction entry, account reconciliation, and journal entry preparation.
  • Conduct complex financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and implement accounting systems and processes for new clients.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or across multiple clients and industries.
  • Superior accuracy and technical expertise, knowledge of client industries.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
  • Expert use of accounting software and systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Accounting Software.
