About the Role

We are an award-winning, full-service children's hospital that offers the highest level of dedicated pediatric care in Northern Virginia. Our pediatric rehab team provides therapy services to the 226-bed pediatric hospital, which includes a PICU, Cardiac Unit, Intermediate Care Unit, Medical/Surgical Unit, Hematology/Oncology, and Level IV NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Select evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
  • Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements
  • New graduate Physical Therapist eligible. 1 year of acute care experience preferred
  • Education: Master's degree, Physical Therapy
  • Certification: BLS certified through the American Heart Association
