A leading manufacturer in the medical device sector is currently seeking a 2nd shift Operator Assembler. This position focuses on the assembly of components into finished products on production lines while adhering to strict quality control standards. The Operator Assembler will work Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM under the guidance of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production operators and technicians in the fabrication of products.
  • Operate wafer fabrication equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Regularly handle delicate wafers and work with small-scale devices.
  • Make basic measurements and adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Conduct visual inspections throughout the production process.
  • Assist in the packaging of finished products.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain product quality.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and sustain engineering efforts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Fluency in English is necessary.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of providing detailed insights for root cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microscopes, ISO standards, FDA regulations, or LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Compensation includes an hourly rate with a shift differential based on experience level.
