Medical Device Production Specialist

A prominent manufacturer in the medical device sector is looking for a 2nd shift Operator Assembler to enhance their production capabilities. This position entails the assembly of various components into completed products on the production lines while upholding stringent quality standards. The Operator Assembler will work Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM under the guidance of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production operators and technicians in the fabrication of products.
  • Operate wafer fabrication equipment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Regularly handle delicate wafers and work with small-scale devices.
  • Perform basic measurements and adjustments on machinery.
  • Conduct visual inspections throughout the production process.
  • Assist in the packaging of finished products.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain product quality.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and sustain engineering efforts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to provide comprehensive information for root cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microscopes, ISO standards, FDA regulations, or LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Compensation will include an hourly rate with shift differentials based on experience.
