Position Overview:
The Financial Markets Analyst plays a crucial role in documenting and disseminating rate lock data and pricing for all loan products. This position is essential in providing investors with the necessary reporting and data insights while ensuring management receives timely updates regarding loans that have been originated, sold, and serviced.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the secondary marketing team to issue daily pricing and establish appropriate gain on sale margins.
- Analyze and price bulk loan pools for large-scale purchases.
- Review ongoing locks, including exceptions and repricing, to ensure accuracy and alignment with current market conditions across all channels (Wholesale, Consumer Direct, Correspondent).
- Address any issues related to the lock pipeline promptly.
- Monitor and adjust locks and rate changes, identifying potential issues and determining when escalation is necessary.
- Understand and communicate investor policies and requirements effectively.
- Manage the pipeline rate lock policy to maintain profitability across varying market conditions.
- Ensure the accuracy of external pricing and eligibility through regular maintenance of external PPEs.
- Maintain and update rate sheets for all business channels (wholesale, correspondent).

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in secondary marketing with a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage industry is preferred.
- Strong technical skills with the capability to design and maintain intricate financial models.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to make sound business recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Ability to perform detailed work amidst frequent interruptions.
- Exceptional communication skills.
