Job Title: Sr Risk and Compliance Manager

ACI Worldwide is seeking a highly skilled Sr Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for owning, leading, and designing the operational elements of ACI's Risk Program & Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute on the operational elements of ACI's Risk Framework.
  • Own and take responsibility for the following activities within each operational risk process: training, communications, process / program adherence, effective challenge, process improvement, policy creation, documenting procedures, tools / technology, escalating risk information, reporting to appropriate forums.
  • Issue Management: Own the process by which risk issues are managed and remediated, including remediation plan oversight and risk acceptances.
  • Loss Events: Design and lead the process that provides management with insight into operational losses, including root cause analysis and impact to ACI and its clients.
  • Risk & Control Assessment: Enhance and lead the process by which the first line assesses assessment unit risk and associated controls, including oversight of downstream risk-based testing.
  • Risk & Compliance Advisory: Develop deep subject matter proficiency across ACI enterprise risk programs; partner with risk program owners, assess trends, and recommend adjustments to programs where appropriate to proactively address evolving needs of ACI and its clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years enterprise risk management, compliance or equivalent GRC program experience; financial services/fintech risk management experience preferred.
  • Strong background including application of advanced Risk & Compliance concepts, practices, and procedures to effectively manage risk to achieve defined outcomes and desired results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, JD, or similar advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience with the development of risk policies and standards.
  • Experience with Archer GRC or similar tools strongly preferred.
  • Experience and/or expertise in banking/payments business a plus.

  • Has experience presenting and reporting to Boards and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Ability to continuously prioritize projects based on risk or impact, confront conflict and difficult issues in a professional, assertive, and proactive manner.
  • Mature communication skills, both oral and written, to concisely communicate key issues and resolutions in manners appropriate to the audience.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to lead without direct authority, influence and build consensus across functional teams.
  • Excels with high levels of discretion, managing and communicating with staff at all organizational levels, from senior management to individual contributors.
  • Ability to set strategy but focus on tactical and detail for execution.
  • Ability to continually assess options to utilize data and automation to assess and improve ACI's internal control environment.
  • Sharp decision-making skills and an ability to prioritize and execute on multiple activities.
