PCHC's Pharmacy Department is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work within integrated care teams to provide high-quality care and service to our patients. You will partner with pharmacists and other team members to accurately dispense medications and maintain inventory, equipment, and records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients by demonstrating respect, kindness, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Support pharmacists in the preparation, organization, and dispensing of medications.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory, anticipating needed medications and supplies, and placing/expediting orders as appropriate.
  • Perform pharmacy cashier functions, collecting and reconciling payment for prescriptions and pharmacy merchandise.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Engage and support patients to ensure they feel heard, respected, and involved in their care.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and practice teams to improve the patient experience and clinic processes.
