Job Summary

The Production Support Technician role is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at Disability Solutions, where you will be responsible for technical and general labor in and around the manufacturing plant and warehouse. This position requires the ability to lift 70 pounds safely, be capable of standing, bending, and lifting for up to 12 hours per day, see (near acuity and far acuity) climb stairs often, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with or without reasonable accommodations.

As a Production Support Technician, you will rotate between multiple positions, spending a full day in each before moving on to the next. The frequency of these rotations will depend on business need, personal interest, and capability. Some responsibilities include operating box folding equipment, maintaining general housekeeping, hand packing bags of chips into boxes, sorting and stacking boxes, sanitizing packaging equipment or facilities, and other duties as assigned.

This is an area owner role, so you will be expected to own your tasks for the day and make decisions to drive the business forward. You will have line specialists, trainers, and managers who will support you. With over 60 types of higher paying full-time positions available within the site, there are many promotional opportunities for Production Technicians who perform well and have good attendance.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime may be required based on seniority, but never more than 12 hours a day, 60 hours a week, or 6 days a week.
