Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in promoting excellent patient care and contributing to the operational management of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement staffing plans to ensure adequate care coverage
  • Evaluate and adjust unit productivity to reach targeted levels
  • Coordinate response to urgent/emergent situations
  • Participate in patient care activities as needed
  • Implement service recovery strategies
  • Coach, mentor, and support staff
  • Collaborate with education to facilitate orientation initiatives
  • Participate in hiring, evaluating, and terminating employees as needed
  • Educate team members on theoretical and clinical competencies
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred with one to two years progressive experience in the healthcare field
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State
  • Participates in orientation and continuing education
  • Maintains BLS/CPR certification and other certifications as required
Work Environment and Hazards

Clinical setting. Exposure Class I

Physical Demands

Medium work: must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting maximum of 50 pounds. Will require ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, and reach.

Pay Range

$55.60 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
