Job Title: Packaging Supervisor

ASR Group, a leading global sugar refiner and marketer, is seeking a skilled Packaging Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing sugar production operations on shift, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices and safe operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct teams of specialized union employees to meet or exceed production targets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead assigned teams in the continuous improvement process, conducting regular shift meetings and training sessions.
  • Analyze production requirements to estimate worker hours and create production schedules.
  • Ensure quality of finished products by adhering to company policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Coordinate the flow of materials into and out of production areas for distribution.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure all safety requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial food manufacturing/production environment supervising union employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Industrial electric background, computer, PLC programming, mechanical troubleshooting, and management supervisory skills.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Continuous Improvement or quality certification(s).
  • 4-year Degree in Industrial/Electrical/Sciences/Technical area.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $67,000 - $124,000, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
