Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Lead to manage our after-school mentoring program site, serving approximately 40-60 students in grades 6-12. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring the well-being and safety of students, and collaborating with the Youth Coordinator to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management
    • Oversee the daily management of the program site, including supervision of Coaches and facilitation of program activities.
    • Ensure compliance with program policies and procedures, including safety protocols and record-keeping.
    • Collaborate with the Youth Coordinator to develop and implement program plans and activities.
  • Staff Support
    • Provide guidance and support to Coaches, including training and coaching on program procedures and best practices.
    • Conduct regular observations and provide feedback to Coaches to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
    • Collaborate with the Youth Coordinator and other program staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, including attendance, behavior, and incident reports.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required by the Youth Coordinator and program leadership.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, youth development, social work).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in a program setting.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced program setting.
Working Conditions

The Site Lead will work in a dynamic and fast-paced program environment, interacting with students, Coaches, and other program staff on a regular basis. The position requires flexibility and adaptability, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
