Key Requirements:
- ARRT certification or eligibility for certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring adherence to established protocols for safety and care.
  • Utilize various radiation protection and shielding techniques.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images, maintaining equipment functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Document completed radiologic procedures and manage related paperwork using computer systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, ensuring medical and radiologic supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program is required.

Experience:
A minimum of one year in Medical Imaging is preferred.

Working Conditions:
Work will primarily take place in examination and treatment rooms, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other common conditions associated with a radiology environment.

Physical and Mental Demands:
This role involves varied activities such as standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. It requires full body motion, including patient handling, manual dexterity, and coordination. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of standing and walking, with occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal ranges.
