Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare facility. This full-time role involves providing essential x-ray services across various medical departments, including urgent care and family medicine. Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Preparing patients for radiologic examinations and ensuring adherence to established safety protocols.
  • Utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures and materials.
  • Operating advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images while maintaining equipment functionality.
  • Documenting completed radiologic procedures and managing associated paperwork through computerized systems.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in examination rooms, ensuring necessary medical supplies are stocked.
  • Performing additional tasks as required to support departmental operations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • ARRT certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Medical Imaging is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position involves working in examination and treatment rooms, with potential exposure to communicable diseases and ionizing radiation, typical of a radiology setting.

Physical and Mental Demands:
The role requires a full range of motion, including standing, walking, and lifting. Candidates should be capable of handling patients and performing manual tasks, with the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
