Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of layout engineers, offering mentorship and technical direction.
  • Execute detailed layouts for RF and analog circuit components.
  • Facilitate the integration of various RF and analog components at the chip's top level.
  • Manage and coordinate the tapeout process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Keep abreast of the latest RFIC layout methodologies and promote best practices.
  • Work closely with design engineers to troubleshoot layout-related challenges.
  • Conduct thorough layout reviews to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with process technology and foundry partners to optimize layouts.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead the integration and verification of top-level layouts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in custom RF/analog layout design.
  • Expertise in industry-standard layout software tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PERL or SKILL is advantageous.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $170,000 - $275,000.
