Position Details

Job Title: Printing Press Operator
Job Type: Onsite


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage Offset Press equipment to produce printed materials that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and set up web or sheet-fed offset printing presses for single and multicolor jobs.
  • Review job orders to ascertain printing specifications, including quantity, stock type, colors, and special instructions.
  • Adjust and maintain press settings to ensure optimal print quality, including ink density and registration.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and assist junior technicians in the operation and maintenance of printing machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience operating Offset Press machinery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills for calculating measurements and adjustments.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
