Job Title: Agency Administrator

GBLI Global Indemnity is a leading provider of specialty property and casualty insurance solutions for small to middle-market businesses. We are seeking an experienced Agency Administrator to join our team.

About the Role

The Agency Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to our agency operations team. This includes assisting with automated policy issuance, creating and maintaining library set-ups for outside agents and internal business units, and managing and maintaining VPI balancing reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with automated policy issuance using PPS, iPPS, Vertafore, and GhostDraft.
  • Create and maintain library set-ups for outside agents and internal business units.
  • Manage and maintain VPI balancing reports, including following up with agents on blank endorsements, missing policy information, and balance discrepancies.
  • Provide backup for ARIC version of Documaker development as needed.
  • Assist with setting up agency EDI with new and existing agents.
  • Act as liaison between agents and Information Technology regarding electronic service requests.
  • Report and respond to technical and business processing issues from the field and escalate to internal areas.
  • Assist with maintenance, updating, and distributing underwriting communications and marketing materials.
  • Handle routine communications with agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
  • Issue non-renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and recession notices using Oden Software.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service support best practices.
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience with document generation tools, including editing documents, creating variables, and markup fields.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external customers.
