About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and efficient communication networks that connect various OT components within a SCADA system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal data flow and system reliability.
  • Program PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
  • Test industrial control systems and initiate system startups in the field.
  • Develop construction document drawings, specifications, calculations, and schedules appropriate to meet project requirements.
  • Review and process shop drawings and submittals.
  • Coordinate with Engineering staff and all other departments.
  • Assist in field investigations, start-ups, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ABET Accredited 4-year degree program focused around Electrical, Computer, or Controls Systems Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (NCEES FE Exam) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Articulate and concise use of written and verbal English language communications.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of handling solo projects as well as working with a group.
  • Eager to learn and expand your skillset.
