Daily Responsibilities:

The Cloud IAM Product Owner will be tasked with ensuring that the Cloud IAM engineering and development team delivers value to the organization through customer-centric product increments. This role involves collaborating with other Product Owners and senior leadership to establish and adhere to a product vision, maintaining a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery obstacles, continuously evaluating customer feedback, and identifying opportunities for product and process enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of guiding a team in the design and delivery of scalable cloud identity and access management solutions within enterprise settings, working in partnership with business stakeholders, risk management teams, and other operational units. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with management to define a product vision and maintain a product backlog, continuously re-prioritizing user stories to maximize customer value.
  • Working alongside other engineering pod leaders, requestors, and release train engineers to scope and plan initiatives for the IAM Engineering Pod.
  • Developing a value-driven product backlog and iterating on it, ensuring user stories are well-defined and prioritized.
  • Overseeing user story design, development, and completion; accepting or rejecting user stories based on established criteria.
  • Aligning with senior management on the product delivery roadmap, defining Minimum Viable Products and release schedules.
  • Providing specialized product development support based on deep IAM expertise and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Staying informed on emerging business trends and regulatory issues to recommend improvements in product, technical, functional, or operational areas.
  • Advising on execution strategies and leading the development and implementation of functional programs within infrastructure security.
  • Addressing unique and complex challenges with significant impact; overseeing standards and controls that influence financial and operational outcomes.
  • Acting as a representative for Infrastructure Security and the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Leading talent management efforts by recruiting top talent, setting objectives, developing team members, managing performance, and addressing disciplinary matters as necessary.
  • Possessing deep expertise in a complex field and understanding related areas.
  • Providing advisory services to executives and business leaders, governing requirements for their work.
  • Integrating knowledge of the enterprise's overarching strategy into program design and operational standards.
  • Anticipating emerging trends and regulatory issues to recommend large-scale improvements.
  • Utilizing innovative thinking to create new solutions.
  • Influencing the technical direction and resource allocation within the enterprise function.
  • Engaging stakeholders to drive action; serving as a source of expert advice and influencing change.
  • Providing leadership guidance, making recommendations, and collaborating with business units to ensure solutions meet complex project needs.
