IT Systems Analyst

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a skilled IT Systems Analyst - Clinical Informatics to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining application and system specifications and processes.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development of innovative healthcare solutions. You will work closely with our clinical and technical teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and implement system solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain application and system specifications and processes.
- Participate in task forces to plan, implement, and coordinate facility activities to maximize information technology service quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Create application and end-user documentation following applicable department, company, and industry standards and policies.
- Participate in the preparation of fully integrated testing scenarios and analyze information systems across multiple levels and states and their relationships.
- Identify, investigate, track, and resolve minor project, system, or application errors ensuring the solution is timely and of acceptable quality.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
QualificationsMust possess an associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience. In some cases, this position may require clinical certification or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacy Tech, etc. Requires intermediate to advanced skills using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other standard business applications. Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours, and on-call duties may be required.
Preferred qualifications include additional related education and/or experience, licensed RN, PT, OT, or MLS, and project management experience.
