Position Overview

As an Automotive Repair Specialist, your primary role will be to assess, maintain, and restore vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will be expected to hold an ASE certification and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools
  • Identify, maintain, and repair automotive systems
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs
  • Provide time estimates for any further repairs required
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Experience in a dealership setting is preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Quick learner with a collaborative spirit
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
