About the Role

As an Automotive Repair Technician A for AAA, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure that our customers can hit the road with confidence and peace of mind. Key Responsibilities
  • Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in the following areas: engine repair, transmission/transmission repair, suspension and steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control work), electrical, heating/air conditioning, and other jobs as assigned.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
Requirements
  • Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance at a level normally acquired through the completion of six (6) years or more as an Automotive Technician.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as a "Master Automotive Technician" preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification is preferred.
  • Ability to train and mentor other Repair Technicians and Service Associates.
  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.

  • 30 Billable Hour Guarantee Per Week
  • The opportunity to earn a productivity bonus on each biweekly paycheck ranging $250 - $550
  • Our full-time technicians work a total of 5 days each week, with Mondays, Friday & Saturdays typically required. You'll get Sundays off each week, and another day during the week off dependent on business need.
